STUDENT EXPECTATIONS AT HOME EVENTS Dear Students and Families, As December begins, so does the start of the winter sports season of girls’ and boys’ basketball and wrestling. At KPS, we take great pride in our student-athletes, and appreciate the strong community support they receive. We expect everyone in attendance to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and positive behavior. For the safety and enjoyment of all, we kindly ask that students in grades 6 and below be accompanied by an adult when attending extracurricular events. During gameplay, students must remain seated. Students should only visit concessions or restrooms during breaks. Should inappropriate behavior be observed, students may be directed to sit with their families or, in some cases, asked to leave the building. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter. We look forward to another fantastic season of activities and appreciate your school spirit! Sincerely, Mrs. Tammy Strobel—Activities Director Mrs. Amy Johnson—Elementary Principal Mrs. Tami Kramlich—Superintendent/High School Principal

🎉 We Did It! 🎉 3rd graders set a kindness goal for the month of November: 200 kind acts to make our homes, classroom, school, and community a brighter place. Not only did they meet the goal, they went above and beyond with 211 acts of kindness! ❤️ The inspiration for this goal came from the incredible stories they watch each morning from Steve Hartman’s videos. His “On the Road” stories remind us daily of the power of kindness and the good happening in the world. My students took that message to heart and decided to create their own positive ripple effect. This project was about showing my students that small, intentional acts of kindness can create something much bigger. Whether it was helping a friend, writing a kind note, or simply sharing a smile, every act reminded us that kindness has the power to uplift others and make the world feel a little warmer. Watching their excitement as they tracked their progress was incredible, but the real magic came from the connections they made and the joy they brought to those around them. They learned that kindness isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are and how we make others feel. #KindnessCounts #ThirdGradeGoals #InspiredBySteveHartman #ProudTeacher #211ActsOfKindness
